If the mode is to be set for a combination of optional equipment, add together the setting values shown in the table below for each peripheral device, and set the mode to the total setting value. For example, to set the mode for a combination of the SF-D20 and the SF-S53, the total setting value is 4 + 10 = 14, so the key operation sequence is as follows.

5 For the SF-D21
(The initial paper size setting is A4 for the AB system and 8 1/2 x 11 for the inch system.)

17. Pull out the large-capacity paper cassette. 15. Place the paper in the cassette.
Place the paper in the paper cassette. When doing this, do not stack the paper higher than the maximum height line indicated on the cassette. Next, push the cassette all the way into the desk as far as it will go.
Maximum height line

Lift up on the handle on the paper cassette and pull the cassette out from the desk until it stops (the paper loading position), and then lift up on the casette handle once again and pull the cassette all the way out of the desk.

18. Adjust the positions of the front and rear paper guides. 16. Set the mode. • Operate the keys on the copier to set the mode.

Remove the mounting screws which secure the front and rear paper guides, fit the two paper guides into the appropriate positions corresponding to the desired paper size, and then also secure the mounting screws into the holes corresponding to the desired paper size.
